The ubiquitous nature of music has fascinated me since I was young enough to appreciate musicians like Raffi. More recently, listening to the song "Nothing to Worry About" by Peter Bjorn & John after hearing a gunshot followed by a car peeling off outside my house at 1AM brought some comfort to this evening.
Hearing gunshots outside your window at night. Hearing the car peel off. That's some intense stuff. I think you have said in the past that you grew up around the Minneapolis/ greater Minneapolis area. What part was it though? Did you ever see anything that changed you drastically, like a robbery or anything like that? Am I right in saying that a lot of the bands that you feature on your site are more independent?
